winxprules Posted January 9, 2005 Share Posted January 9, 2005 During setup, I've got mine set up to add my user name and add me to the Administrators group.But, the question is: is there any way to change the user picture as well?I have found this keyname:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Hints\<username>with a value of"PictureSource"="<path>\picture.jpg"While adding the username, I also use the REG program to ADD that key and value name and have it point to a certain picture. But, when windows starts up, it shows the default "random" picture built-in to XP.If anyone has any idea about how to do this, I'd really appreciate it!Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think half of them contain questions wich can be answered with the unattended guide... I use the search a lot.... but it is difficult to find something... just to many topics...
