sanddunes Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 HelloWhen trying to install powerquest drive image 7.03 I got a msg saying it cannot be installed in windows 2003 server. Is there any way to bypass it? The compatibility mode do not work.I´m really in need of a drive cloning program. And drive image backup to cds that can restore a formated drive. That´s the point.I´m receiving any ideas. Thank you!
tguy Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 You could try extracting the install files to a temp directory and then editing the .msi to turn off the OS version check.Or you could try Norton Ghost 9.0 which is essentially v2i and Ghost combined.
sanddunes Posted January 10, 2005 Author Posted January 10, 2005 Oh! That simple??? I almost went through a complete format reinstal. To replace 2003 with xp!I´m trying ghost. But how can I extract files from the .msi?Is there a program for this? Winrar don´t work
