Hi All

I have got two issues:

First: how can I disable the function of automatically log out (kick out) in windows 2003 server or 2000 server ?

Second : If I have dual boot, how can I change the option for which OS will boot first?

1. Automatic log-out, in what context?

Account expiry? Password expiry? Activation? Inactive? something else?

2. You need to edit "C:\boot.ini" for this purpose.

In The context of security issue, if the PC remains idle for 3 or 4 minutes , you will be cicked out from desktop (lock desktop)
You need to edit "C:\boot.ini" for this purpose.

Is it staight forward , or I have to be aware of some issue?

See Screensaver settings and Power Options.

Its pretty straight forward, assuming that you know how your disk is partitioned and you know how a boot-loader works.

You can edit your default boot by Right clicking on My Computer, selecting Properties. Select the Advanced Tab, Startup and Recovery, Settings. Just select the default OS and click OK.
