Rainy Posted December 24, 2004 Posted December 24, 2004 Hey guys,I want to change the home directory for the only user I created with an unattended installation I've already finished. I tried it with several changes in the registry and also with tools like InstallRight and so but both methods don't work.I also tried every thinkable way to search in the forum but I didn't find a suitable post.Does anyone has a idea for changing the home directory of an user without a user's interaction???OK, thank's a lot!Bye.
army20 Posted December 25, 2004 Posted December 25, 2004 User must first logon...Then the reg key is : My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\User Shell Folders. Edit the personnal StringIf you want to have the whole user directory moved that's another story.
