Hi,

I read from the doc deliverable with WinPE 2004:

Windows PE build tools work with the current version of Windows and previous versions of Windows as described in the following table:

Windows PE Build Tools Version Operating System to Deploy

Version 1.2        WinXP          WinXP SP1      WinSRV2003

Version 2004      WinXP SP2

I'm very confused !

Can I use WinPE 2004 with WinXP SP1 ?

You need Windows XP with SP2 slipstreamed into it to build the PE 2004 CD what you posted says is that you need WinPE 1.2 to use XP SP1 to make a WinPE CD.
