solfog
I'd like to make a clean install of xp on my laptop, but my cd drive is not working anymore.I can copy the xp cd on my usb drive, and from my usb hard drive to my second partition, then I could format my c: and pray that it will install from the cd "image"(that is not an iso, but just the files and directories copied from the cd)What are the chances that it works?Won't the setup search for the cd in the cd drive? Is there another method?
