Unattended japanese win2000: keyboard error

Recommended Posts

i am creating Unattended japanese win2000 CD with winnt.sif file.

no error occur in install , but when windows booted , i found some keys in my keyboard is unuseable , my keyboard is "standard 101/102-key or microsoft natural PS/2 keyboard".

in normal install japanese win2000 , it will ask me select keyboard : Japanese 106 or English 101 .

i think there is a error in my winnt.sif file , which defines the keyboard .

how can i define it ?

my winnt.sif file :

;SetupMgrTag
[Data]
   AutoPartition=0
   MsDosInitiated="0"
   UnattendedInstall="Yes"
[Unattended]
   UnattendMode=FullUnattended
   OemSkipEula=Yes
   OemPreinstall=no
   TargetPath=\WINNT
   Repartition=No
[GuiUnattended]
   AdminPassword=0000000
   AutoLogon=Yes
   AutoLogonCount=1
   OEMSkipRegional=1
   TimeZone=210
   OemSkipWelcome=1
[UserData]
   FullName=user
   OrgName=osz
   ComputerName=osz0000000000
[RegionalSettings]
   LanguageGroup=7,9,10
[Identification]
   JoinWorkgroup=WORKGROUP

Have you looked at the Guide to Unattended Setup from MS? There is lots of good info. in there on Regional settings.

Another good source is the ref.chm from XP or Server 2003 deployment tools.

Check them out.
