RunOnceEx in winnt.sif

Featured Replies

Hi guys, i have an special win xp version created with nlite.

The Problem is the section

[RunOnceEx]

%systemdrive%\Progs\RunOnceEx.cmd

It is all fine - the entries in registry etc. - but after the restart of the pc it dosn´t work.

my question is - what is the premise for running the "RunOnceEx" Key. Is there a file something like a *.dll or something else.

sorry for my english - but if you understand anything else - write me

rundll32.exe iernonce.dll,RunOnceExProcess

The above command will run the entries in RunOnceEx immediately

i tried this one but it doesn´t work. is any service or something else required for executing (working) this command?

No RunOnceEx section in winnt.sif? RunOnceEx.cmd should execute from Cmdlines.txt.

Yes, there's no such section in winnt.sif

Instead the section is actually called [GUIrunOnce].
