sonson2003 Posted December 10, 2004 Posted December 10, 2004 after installion Unattended windows and add user the shutdown dialog box change from image 1 to image 2.how can change from image 2 to image 1 ???????
prathapml Posted December 10, 2004 Posted December 10, 2004 The first one is the new-style shutdown prompt in XP. The second one is the default one found in win2k/ME (and in XP too).Go into ControlPanel>>UserAccountsand click "Change the way users log on or off".Now you see a check-box named "Use the Welcome screen".If you have that option checked, you get the new-style. If unchecked, you will have the old-style. In your case, you'd want to enable the check-mark.
sonson2003 Posted December 11, 2004 Author Posted December 11, 2004 how can change from old-style to new style automatic with unattended install????
prathapml Posted December 11, 2004 Posted December 11, 2004 If you're doing an unattended install of XP, then its new-style by default (you don't need to do anything to enable it).If you're referring to win2k though, its not possible to have the new-style.
sonson2003 Posted December 11, 2004 Author Posted December 11, 2004 when i use useraccounts.cmd and autologon.reg in $OEM$ director the new style change to old style?and i cann't solve it.
prathapml Posted December 11, 2004 Posted December 11, 2004 Since you are beginning out with unattended, don't use the CMDs and .REGs for user creation. There's an easier way - oobeinfo.ini method. Single file, and simple to use.
sonson2003 Posted December 11, 2004 Author Posted December 11, 2004 i want batch file or cmd file to change from old-style to new-style.
MHz Posted December 11, 2004 Posted December 11, 2004 Do you have in your winnt.sif, a [shell] section?
