blabMOXkd Posted November 27, 2004 Posted November 27, 2004 I've removed MySQL from my Windows2003 system, but the entry in Services still remains. I've searched MS and did a registry sweep in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet as well as in ControlSet001 and ControlSet002 like they suggested. but found nothingi've done a search through the entire registry for MySQL entries and it found one in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\LEGACY_MYSQL but i can't delete it.i want to reinstall MySQL with the newer version, but can't proceed without removing this entry.Any ideas?
