Guest Posted October 3, 2002 Posted October 3, 2002 Thanks xsivforce for the tip zip! This one tip, caught my eyes!Change Log On ScreenChange log on screen (logonui.exe) in three (essentially) steps without restarting!!! 1. Locate desired "logonui.exe" file and rename it to something convenient (I used mylogonui.exe) 2. Copy renamed file to Windows\system32 folder 3. Start > Run > RegEdit4. Goto:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/WindowsNT/CurrentVersion/Winlogon and Modigy "UIHost"5. Change it to the name of your log on screen (on my case, mylogonui.exe)Goto ThemeXP, Logon Screens, and choose the one you want. Extract the EXE and rename it...like it says...Put it in system32 folder, and locate it in registry.... Changes your XP Logon/Logoff screen! My Windows.NET Logon/Logoff Screen (Ownage)
Crispy Posted October 4, 2002 Posted October 4, 2002 Well, ThemeXP.org is always overloaded ... So, that trick of yours won't do any good
