It wont let you overight it if it's in use though.I can't log to my XP all the users are remove from the GPO I should reconfigure the security.But how to reconfigure the security without logon?The file secsetup.inf contain the basic security :seinteractivelogonright how reconfigure this??????? Then loading the Security Configuration & Analysis tool.Open the template compatws.inf from %WINDIR%\Security\Templates.Apply the template to your machine.Reboot and see what happens. tguy Posted December 3, 2004 Share Posted December 3, 2004 Do a Google search for secedit.exe unattended. You could create a batch file to be launched by WinPE or Bart's PE boot cd that will run the compatws.inf template against your machine and possibly solve the problem.Haven't tried it myself but I know you apply security templates in cmd prompt window with batch files.
