i searched everywhere regarding this particular subject but couldnt find anything. i was advised to post my question here!!!

could any1 tell me, what are the operations of windows 3.x and its relationship to DOS....

i hope i can get some help here,

Windows 1.0 through 3.11 less commonly known as "Windows 16" because all versions where 16 bit Operating Systems and they all required the applicable (currently available) version of MS-DOS to be underneath as the DOS platform from which they were launched.

Sorry I should have been more specific, its basically the functions of the windows 3.x

(DOS and Windows3.x and Networks) was networking possible on windows 3.x!!!

metho, this could be quite a complex subject if you needed specific information.

I think the latter half of this article gives a good overview without being too technical.
