hotfixes are leftovers on systemdrive

I am curious how to avoid all the hotfix folders left on the system drive after setup.

Most of the hoxfixes doing this leave a folder with a funny string of numbers for names and have the update.exe utility inside. I just want to know if there is someway to avoid this. Thanks.
