Hello all,

I am having some problems with my unattended installation of 2003 and was hoping someone here might be able to help. Here is my process:

1. I boot from a CD into Windows PE

2. PE partitions and formats the C: drive via winbom.ini

3. I copy unattend.txt from the CD to C:

4. I run a vbscript to gather server name, etc from installer and write it to unattend.txt

5. I rename unattend.txt to winnt.sif

6. I launch 2003 setup (source files on CD) with the following command:

winnt32 /syspart:c: /tempdrive:c: /unattend:c:\winnt.sif /noreboot /makelocalsource

The problem I am having is after setup initially runs and puts me back into PE for the reboot. I go to the $win_nt$.~bt folder and the winnt.sif file that was created by setup does not include most everything from my original file. Is there something I am doing incorrectly? Everything else seems to work, I just have to enter the information that should have been used to begin with. Anyone run into this before?

Sonny
