plzlisn
I have already posted about this in the following thread, but thought maybe I should make another topic so sorry if this is redundant:http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=30231&st=20Again I want to thank Trainee for the program it is such a cool thing especially when one can't get the floppy to work. I'm really a novice at all this so I'm sure I am doing something wrong, but it still will not load the Nvidia drivers during the Setup, at least I did not see them load when watching. WindowsXP Pro SP2 loaded and then after the restart this message came up: "Inf file txtsetup.sif is corrupt or missing Status 2. Setup cannot continue." Am I suppose to add anything manually? or change something? Should I add my original Unattend.txt file to the Winnt.sif that was generated by your program? I looked throught the txtsetup.sif and didn't see any reference to nvatabus.sys or nvraid.sys. Should there be something in it like that? Ok so just for the heck of it I went ahead and copied the info from the Unattend.txt file into the Winnt.sif that was generated and burned it again...now I get the Error (18) on line 1747 in d:\xpsrtm\base\boot\setup\oemdisk.c. during setup. Any ideas or help would be much appreciated. I've been working on this now for two days and would really like to get it to work, not to mention I need my computer! MSI K8N Neo2 Plat, Nvidia Force3 chipset, Athlon 64 3500+,2 Seagate SATA 120gb HDs, RAID 0 Rasor A3 formed in the main directory a folder, $OEM$ which containes two folders, $$ and Textmode. The folder, $$ contains another folder OemDir. Then in the directory I386 it made a folder $OEM$ and it added a Winnt.sif file to the I386 folder. I will post the files as they appeared in my last attempt so you can analize them to see if they are correct or I should change something.Any help will be so appreciated!!Txtsetup.oem[Disks]d1 = "NVIDIA RAID DRIVER (SCSI)", \disk1, \[scsi]RAIDCLASS = "NVIDIA RAID CLASS DRIVER (required)"BUSDRV = "NVIDIA NForce Storage Controller (required)"[Defaults]scsi = RAIDCLASS[Files.scsi.RAIDCLASS]driver = d1, nvraid.sys,RAIDCLASSinf = d1, nvraid.infinf = d1, nvraidco.dllcatalog = d1, nvraid.cat[Files.scsi.BUSDRV]driver = d1, nvatabus.sys,BUSDRVinf = d1, nvatabus.infinf = d1, idecoi.dllcatalog = d1, nvata.cat[Config.RAIDCLASS][Config.BUSDRV][HardwareIds.scsi.RAIDCLASS]id = "GenNvRaidDisk","nvraid"id = "*_NVRAIDBUS","nvraid"[HardwareIds.scsi.BUSDRV]id = "PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_008E", "nvatabus"id = "PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0085", "nvatabus"id = "PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00D5", "nvatabus"id = "PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00EE", "nvatabus"id = "PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00E3", "nvatabus"id = "PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00E5", "nvatabus"id = "PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0035", "nvatabus"id = "PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0036", "nvatabus"id = "PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_003E", "nvatabus"id = "PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0053", "nvatabus"id = "PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0054", "nvatabus"id = "PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0055", "nvatabus"WINNT.sif; Microsoft Windows; © 1994 - 2001 Microsoft Corporation. trainee
plzlisn: thank you for all of the kind thanks but you need to give a little time for people to respond. I still don't have a machine to debug RASOR with. I also don't have a nvidia motherboard to test the nvidia drivers with. That is the real problem. Rcordorica has said that the nvidia drivers work with RASOR. I would try sending him a line. Also please make sure that you have a good working winnt.sif file. I think that RASOR isn't properly copying a file and that rcordorica aleady had that file in the correct directory. my ETA is 2.5wks to have my computers back/moved. I am sorry that I can't provide a better answer.
