ERROR_INTERNET_INVALID_CA

Can any one tell me how to handle "ERROR_INTERNET_INVALID_CA" error in Wininet libraries. I dnt want to bypass this error. is there any way to tell the system that the certificate is one of my trusted certificates. I get this error before i logged in to my system. I am trying to connect my server for authentication before logging in to the system. I have already installed the certificate in CA trust store. but how to tell wininet functions abt my trusted certificates and my certificate is not signed by verisign or any trusted authority.
