Hotfix Install per MSI

Hi @all,

did anybody know if Microsoft has all the Hotfixes as MSI Files? I want to Install the Hotfixes per Grouppolicy.

No they don't. You can download the hotfixes from Microsoft to a network share, then download QCHAIN.EXE.

Create a batch file that will install each hotfix with the /Z /M switches then run QCHAIN.EXE at the end and reboot the server.

This is quick, effective and MS actually backs this method for mass patch installations.
