martybuzz
I run XP and Server 2003 on two separate drives. XP on a SATA drive and 2003 on a ATA drive. They are both independent of each other and I boot off each using the BIOS. So, they're both C: when you boot to them. When I boot to XP, it sees the drive 2003 is on and I can access files on that drive. When I boot to 2003, the XP drive shows up in the hardware, but sees it as un-formatted. Any ideas?Buzz.
cymril
Maybe you have your XP drive FAT32? Not sure if 2k3 can read FAT32 or just NTFS. That may be an issue. Also maybe you need the SATA driver installed on your 2k3 installation?

Eleo
Perhaps you could install Windows XP (temporarily) onto the Windows 2003 drive, in another directory, just to see if it recognizes the other hard drive. It might determine whether it's a hardware problem or if it's just a shortcoming of Windows 2003.
