Guest jondoh Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 Hey, folks, I've got a problem: I can't find any info on two specific GUI tweaks I'd like to try. I've searched Microsoft and Google and have come up short. 1) I use Windows Task Bar toolbars around the periphery of my screen that give me ready access to my most-used shortcuts. My problem occurs when I try to expand one of the sidebars. I can increase the size of the bar, but no matter how much I expand it, I'm still using only one column. This causes all the icons to bunch up at the top and display altogether differently than I was hoping for. What I'm looking for is the opportunity to add several "independent," one-columed toolbars, each having it's own right-click context menu.I really don't think it can be done through Windows, to be honest.. anybody seen any registry tweaks or scripts or whatever that deal with this? 2) I've used a tweak for expanding the IE Links menu - when it's too long for the screen - to two side-by-side columns rather than by using the chevron at the bottom to cascade to the end, but I've lost it. Anybody know anything about this little gem? Thanks for everything.Windows XP Home v5.01.2600 SP1 SP2 | Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1 | eMachines T2042 | 2GHz Intel Celeron Processor | 512MB RAM | 40GB Hard Drive | Intel 3D AGP Graphics | 10/100Mbps Ethernet (3mbps) | CD-RW 40x Write | DVD 16x Play | Free AVG Antivirus | Windows Firewall
