dhansen911 Posted November 1, 2004 Posted November 1, 2004 I was wondering if anyone knows that needs to be in the winnt.sif file so the whole installation process of windows XP will be unattended.
oioldman Posted November 1, 2004 Posted November 1, 2004 i'd highly recommend a visit here =>http://unattended.msfn.orgRead digest and enjoy. 99.9% of questions will be answered here, if nota search and then ask. It's where i started and couldn't be happier, good helpful, clear advice.
dhansen911 Posted November 2, 2004 Author Posted November 2, 2004 Thanks that link helped. I am still stuck though, I might just be an id*** but I can’t get the install to get past the partition selection screen without needing user input.
MHz Posted November 2, 2004 Posted November 2, 2004 Without being clear of what exactly you want?[Unattended]UnattendMode = FullUnattendedThis enables a full unattended setup of windows. So long as all required answers have been filled in by Setup Manager.Setting up partitions is normal. When the prompt come up, I click Setup XP on this partition and walk away.Look at repartition, if you want to boot, format the first drive and setup xp with no prompts at all.
