unable to change default playback sounddevice

I have 2 soundcards on my workstation running XP Pro SP2 Eng.

After installing SP2 I think, I'm unable to change the default playback sounddevice.

Any idear ?

Not sure why this would happen.

I would check the hardware and check for connfilcts. A bit puzzeling as I have 2 sound cards on XP SP2 and I can choose either for my playback device.

Have you administrator rights ?
