lokomitso Posted October 24, 2004 Posted October 24, 2004 Hi I hope that you can solve my problem with SP2.I recently received my SP2 CD from Microsoft but I am unable to install it, because I used a "Prerelease Version of Service Pack 2".Is there any way to force the installation of SP2 final?Thank you.P.S. I am using Windows XP Pro English
FAT64 Posted October 24, 2004 Posted October 24, 2004 Uninstall your "Prerelease Version of Service Pack 2" first?
lokomitso Posted October 25, 2004 Author Posted October 25, 2004 No it is not possible!!!I do not have uninstall option and I do not know what effect will have on that PC.There must be a way, a flag that windows rise.If I can reset the flag maybe I will be able to install it.Thnaks
