Bret Posted October 24, 2004 Posted October 24, 2004 Hello,Sorry if this has been asked before, but I can't find the answer anywhere. I'd appreciate any help.As you know, WMP10 finally lets us rip CD's into MP3's without a plug-in (finally). It also allows you some latitute with the naming convention, but not what I would like. I would like to name my tracks Winamp or Roxio style, but can't figure out how to do it, other than manually after the rip.For example...This is an example of the closest that WMP10 will let me getHot For Teacher-Van HalenThis is what I want to be able to doHot For Teacher - Van HalenI want a space on each side of the hyphen, and I want to rip with WMP10. How do I have the best of both worlds, without a lot of manual renaming? Thanks in advance.
Bret Posted October 27, 2004 Author Posted October 27, 2004 not even one reply? not even to tell me it's not possible?
Ted the Penguin Posted November 5, 2004 Posted November 5, 2004 well you could probably write a batch file to rename the files, but I dont know about messing wth windows media player like that
