kroustibat Posted October 6, 2004 Share Posted October 6, 2004 hiI want to use dsa.msc (AD users and computers) on Windows XP. i don't want to use the full adminpak 2003, juste dsa.msc and i suppose dsadmin.dll.I know that in windows 2000 i just copied files dsadmin.dll and dsa.msc and run regsvr32 dsadmin.dll and this work.But with windows 2003 and XP no!Anyone can help me? arkady187 Posted October 6, 2004 Share Posted October 6, 2004 Are you trying to use the dsa and the dll from w2k or w2k3? w2k files will not work as you obviously know from having to use the full adminpak for 2003. If you are using the 2k3 version you could always install the full adminpak and remove all the ones you don't want.
