Mr_XP Posted September 28, 2004 Posted September 28, 2004 Hi. I've made a few attemps at making my unattended XP bootable DVD and still am having troubles. Are there any templates I could use; (I.E. winnt.sif etc premade for use for a basic 1 user account?) "XP Pro +SP2 Intergrated". I have read on some sites from the forum that there are certrain "runonceonly" type menu's I could also Incorporate into start.cmd for Installing my system software I use, Nero, office etc. I'm a little new to this type of command line stuff although I have used Windows for maybe 12 years, so I am kinda experienced just never done this before and don't seem to be getting too far. Any Help Greatly Appreciated.P.S. Would it be wise to install the full driver.cab from default winXP Pro? Thank YouMr_XP
MHz Posted September 28, 2004 Posted September 28, 2004 The Unattended CD GuideWindows XP SP2 Deployment ToolsHave a look through the unattended cd guide if you have not done so yet. I think, a number of your questions may be answered. Also download the deployment tools. It has a ref.chm file for help and has setupmgr.exe for creating a basic winnt.sif file.btw. I keep the full driver cab.Hope this helps you along.
