Does anyone know where you could modify the freaky music that sounds when you load XP for the first time and it tells you to fill out things like usernames and stuff?

It's the file title.wm_ (WMA file). If you want to modify the movie, look for intro.wm_ (WMV file). They're both located in the I386 dir of your XP-cd, or in %SystemRoot%\system32\oobe\images after install.
