Hotfixes for Pre and Post SP2

Awhile ago, i found a link from this site to another that had a listing of all the hotfixes needed for pre SP2 machines. Does anyone know of this link? I thought I had it bookmarked somewhere, but I guess not. I know about the Windows Update Catalog, but I'm interested in installing only the needed Critical Updates not every possible update.

why not just install only the critical updates from the Windows Update site, you can select only those,

no, it wasn't on this site, it was off site somewhere. Just visiting Windows Update with a fresh box, should work, but Windows Updates lists off all updates, even superceeded ones, just like that fourm post does. It is possible to read through that post and remove all the superceeded ones, but i was looking for an easier route out. thanks for the help so far!

Its left to you to use that forum post or not but... ummm..... that thread does not have superseded hot-fixes listed. It has all the things that you HAVE to install, and nothing more/less. Those patches that are not needed due to a new patch superseding it, aren't posted at the first post there.

Oh well, do let us know of your find as well, when you do manage to get the page please!
