troycicle Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 I'm trying to suppress the start menu on the first boot of Windows XP. I found this:;Prevent "Start" menu popping up on windows first boot:[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced]"StartMenuInit"=dword:00000002"StartButtonBalloonTip"=dword:00000002I added it to my cmdlines, but it didn't work. Does anyone have another solution, or a way I can get this to work?
troycicle Posted September 26, 2004 Author Posted September 26, 2004 I'm using WPI The Brain edition. I added that registry key in the key in the first key install of WPI. That worked. After that, I had all my programs install.
