Unattended Upgrade hangs at select partition

Here is my winnt.sif file:

It stops at the select partition text screen. all I want to do is upgrade from 2000 Pro to XP Pro SP2 from a CD. What am I missing?

During an upgrade, it might probably do that sort of thing. But then if its upgrade, it knows which partition has the OS to be upgraded!

If you boot-up from that CD, it will happen the way you want. Also, that way its a clean-install, which is recommended to have a good, working OS.

Try that, and do get back on how it went, and whether it solved your requirement.
