September 17, 200421 yr Hi, I followed the guide to an unattended XP installation and most of the things are working, except one...In my winnt.sif file, i have:[systemRestore]MaximumDataStorePercentOfDisk = 2Unfortunately, after the installation, System Restore is initially set at 30% I'm using Windows XP SP2 English. One more question, how to enable Automatic Updates setting in the winnt.sif? Thanks!
September 18, 200421 yr Read the reference manual to know that "disk_percentage A two-digit integer".Yours is only one digit.[Data]AutomaticUpdates= Yes
September 18, 200421 yr Author Thanks, MHZ...But I've already tried with 02 and achieved the same result After the installation, the minimum I can set in the System Restore tab is 15%...What's wrong with this? With my previous XP SP1 I could easily set the percentage in the tab to 2%.I definitively don't want to waste 15%.Please help!
September 18, 200421 yr The default value is 12. I would assume that 10 is the lowest as a double integer. It would take quite some time for system restore to use that much space. You can change the RestorePointLife setting to keep the space used to a low level.
