setup screen with 4mb colors

I have surprised when I've installed my XP SP2 Pro. That the setup screen not working as it worked always …It is with the Old blue setup screen color witch we was used in win98 and before …while the same Win Cd with other system worked as it must ….but just with this system it is not work…& I have test an Win XP sp1 cd on this system it is work ,,That's mean just the SP2 not working…..so what I must do with that…

Your saying 8 bit color, Maybe wrong settings in winnt.sif for your video card?

i don't think winntbbu has anything to do with your motherboard

for help with making winntbbu.dll

all i do is get a winntbbu.dl_ from

groups.yahoo.com/group/winntbbu

and put into my i386 folder and that is it.

That is true and i'm doing the same and it is working with all systems I have just this system wont work and other of my setup screen it is shows the oldest Blue bad colors screen......

Your targetpath should have a backslash in front of it? Otherwise, I do not see a reason, if you are getting 8 bit color, mssaad66.

Yhat is a default screen, for low res. You certainly have probs, if that is showing.
