Davetheknave
Hi Folks, I'm lost in CD boot formats.I simply want to make anumber of CD's that will hold all kinds of things but are BOOTABLE in XP. Excuse the shouting!I do not want to use a emulation of a floppy etc. Also I do not want to make a large image of some file, ie copy it. I have Nero 5.5 and in the image file locate I have put a number of .bin files, xpboot.bin etc but they will not boot. I believe I have all the other tricks right, ie no emulation, #of B/loaders: 4, level2. mode 1, andtick do not add "1". So it appears to come down to the "image" that I am using. I have tried Isibuster etc, but I cannot get it to go either. Need I say it, I need help! Many thanks.
prathapml
Check out this thread - http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?act=ST&f=70&t=13255.The procedure to be followed is pretty much the same for Nero 5.5 series as well.
TomcaT
Don't shout at me if you have already checked this, but have you set your PC to boot from CD-ROM via the BIOS set-up? I could not get mine to boot up then realised that I had switched it off when playing with the BIOS.....
