ewok Posted September 4, 2004 Posted September 4, 2004 I made a slipstreamed SP2 cd with winnt.sif under i386, created a $oem$ folder and put my cmdlines.txt, regtweaks.reg, useraccounts.cmd and autologon.reg files in there.Installed XP and it obviously reads the winnt.sif just fine, but it totally seems to have ignored my cmdlines.txt because it hasnt executed my accounts stuff and hasnt done any of my registry tweaks.I also have a $1 folder inside $oem$ and inside this I have a drivers\NIC folder containing my ethernet driver inf files. i have pointed oempnpdriverspath to that folder as you can see in my attached sif, and it also ignores this.I must have done something wrong any ideas?my cmdlines.txt is:[COMMANDS]"useraccounts.cmd""REGEDIT /S regtweaks.reg"and its obviously not touched it at all (or it has and it failed for some reason). I've attached my winnt.sif and renamed it to .txt for easier reading.ThanksWINNTSIF.txt
MHz Posted September 4, 2004 Posted September 4, 2004 Even if you have no winnt.sif, cmdlines.txt will still be processed. $oem$ must be in the same directory as i386 directory?
ewok Posted September 4, 2004 Author Posted September 4, 2004 I see. Well $oem$ is INSIDE the I386 directory so it goes/I386/$oem$/$1/Drivers/NICbut it has ignored the oem directory, and not installed the drivers either.should I have it as/I386/$OEM$/$1/$drivers/NICinstead?thanks
ewok Posted September 4, 2004 Author Posted September 4, 2004 duh, just checked the guide again and it DOES say/i386/$oem$dont know why I thought oem was inside i386 hehe.thanks
