I've created an unattended XP cd using the excellent tutorial on this site, but I've encountered a problem. I have searched the forums for a solution to this problem but couldn't find any, so here it is:

I have created an XP cd that sets the default location of the Documents and Settings folder to the D: drive. All user profile folders are created on that drive, no problem there. I've been using this XP installation to do my work for some time now, but then it started to crash more often so I decided to run the unattended install again.

Instead of reusing the old user profile folders, the setup creates folders like myusername.mycomputername, i.e. it creates new folders for the user profiles.

My question: is there any way I can make setup reuse the old profiles?

Thanks in advance!
