Standby icon?

Hi,

i have installed sp2 slipstreamed with xp, but in my computer standby icon is not enabled .on top of that my CPU is not switching of completely .I my unattened file my cpu type is ACIPC. and in power option i enabled apm option .my monitor is switching off properly .but in my CPU the bottom LCD screen is still on ,cpu is not switching off properly .

Please help me ..
