Getting Infrared in 2003 Server Corporate Edition

I just installed Windows 2003 Server on my laptop and configured it to be a workstation with help from the guide here on MSFN.

I only have one big problem. I can't seem to get my infrared port to working, I know it's not included in this version of Windows but I would really appreciate it if any of you could give me some tips on how to tweak this.

Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition does not have Infrared support. But the Standard Edition of Windows 2003 does.

Which did you install?

I installed Enterprise Edition but I have installed Windows XP and configured it for my needs now. Cause after some reading on forums it seemed nearly impossible to get the infrared port to work in my Enterprise Edition.

Works good now though.

do you know any location where i can download a generic infrared driver for windows 2003? i tried donwloading from driver-guide but it seems that their driver doesnt work ( their site tells that it should).
