bobby100
After I have installed SP2, I can see my network connections in Control Panel. This also afects Windows built-in Firewall settings. I had one LAN and 2 VMWare connections there. Now if I go to Control Panel> Network connections, first it needs a lot of times to appear, and I cant see any connection there. My LAN connection works fine because it was set before installing SP2, but I can disable built-in firewall because it reports that no network connection can be found.Anybody knows anything about this ? GRiG
Has the same problems. Also found out that 1. LDM (Local Disk manager) service is not working 2. When going to Service-->Dependencies got message "Class not registered"3. Programs that are using Windows Installer can't be installed...It seems that RPC service is not normally working on my computer.I can see it running - but none of services depending on RPC are working.Have a look onn Services and try to set RPC sercie to Automatic.Maybe this will help..
