boot screes xp1 xp2 compatabitly?

ok just a quick one dose any know if the old sp1 boot screens will work with sp2 because if i rember rigth the oringal xp boot screens did not work with sp1?

The boot screens are actually modified Windows Kernels (the very basic form of an operating system) unless you want to use an older and possibly incompatible kernel I would suggest against it.

Desist from older boot-screen .EXEs. Make new ones, or use utilities like StyleXP or bootskin to do what you need.
