atbm5208 Posted August 12, 2004 Posted August 12, 2004 With XP SP2 enabling the built-in firewall causes about a 30 second delay when sending email. I tried Netscape Messanger, Eudora, and Outlook, all suffer from the same issue. Adding these programs to the exception list didn't help, neither did adding the default smtp port. Anyone else run into this or know of a workaround (other than disabling the firewall)?
Jazkal Posted August 12, 2004 Posted August 12, 2004 Have you verified that disabling the firewall fixes the problem?
