Help! My unattend disk freezes up

I made a new dvd with all the latest hotfixes but now it freezes right at the beginning of the install. The screen says "Setup is inspecting your computer's hardware configuration....", and it just freezes here and doesn't go any further. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
