This one is puzzling me to no end. During the text-based portion of the install, while copying files, about a dozen or so appear to be corrupted, and won't copy over.

I'm using Nero and the XP Pro boot loader to create the CD, and have tried several different burning speeds, and different media, to no avail.

I tried the image creator, created the bootable image, burned the CD with Nero, and I still get the corrupt files on installation. The same files are being read by Windows as "corrupt", and won't copy over. If I stick a known working CD into the drive at that point, the files are still corrupted, and Windows won't copy them.

I'm using integrated Nforce3 SATA drivers, and it appears to be detecting the hard drive as normal, and using the correct drivers..

Any ideas?

Try mounting the ISO in Daemon, Nero Image (in control panel) or Alcohol, then run CD-Check on it to see if there is corruption. If there is, this will rule out a bad CD-RW or Media.
