I am using BCDW to make a bootable DOS CD. I am wondering what the difference is between these two options:

1) copying all my files to a 15mb bootable hard disk partition, making an image of the partition, and using that image in BCDW

2) creating a bootable floppy, making an image of that floppy, and accessing my files from the CD drive

It seems to me that method #1 would give faster file access times since the files are loaded into memory, whereas method #2 would have to read the files from the CD. So what are the downsides to method #1? I checked the memory usage of both methods, but I couldn't find any difference....
