mBird Fr. Posted July 15, 2004 Posted July 15, 2004 HiI'm trying to make my multi-boot dvd and I've come to the point where I have to make an .iso file with Cdimage. I run the program with proper parameters, the program checks all the files and calculates the size of the .iso file (4.2 GB) and then it says that there's not enough space on the disk to write the .iso and quits. That's not true however, I have at least 10 GB of free space.I've done some research on how this is possible and the only thing I've come up with is that I have FAT32 on the drive and therefore I can't have a single file that is 4.2 GB in size (Cdimage wants to write the file on disk but can't, so it displays the 'not enough disk space' error). So, what I'm asking is, is there any way around it? I'm not to keen on formatting the disk and changing it to NTFS. Is there any other way? (Perhaps to burn the files seperatly with Nero and somehow tell Nero where my boot file is... but will it work, is it possible?).Any help would be appriciated, thanks.
mBird Fr. Posted July 17, 2004 Author Posted July 17, 2004 Nevermind...I went ahead and changed from FAT32 to NTFS and now it works like a charm. Problem solved.
