DragonPark Posted July 9, 2004 Posted July 9, 2004 Not sure if anybody has really heard of this, but ive been looking for a version of XP called revolutionOS. Its basically a striped down version that is a lot more stable than XP and provides a bit more configuration. A freind on IRC said that the website went down and he has no clue what happened to it. Anybody know where i can find it along with some documentation?
jrzycrim Posted July 9, 2004 Posted July 9, 2004 Never heard of it. I'm sure it's a pirated version like Windows FD. Probably explains why the website is down.
amigafan Posted July 9, 2004 Posted July 9, 2004 The only occurence of the name revolutionOS which I am aware of is Revolution OS, an independent film that "tells the inside story of the hackers who rebelled against the proprietary software model and Microsoft to create GNU/Linux and the Open Source movement."Maybe your friend got his wires crossed, that might explain why you can't find it.
DragonPark Posted July 9, 2004 Author Posted July 9, 2004 Im sure he knows what hes talking about. He said it also goes by the name streamline XP.
