Nick2588 Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 After doing an unattended installation, Internet Explorer won't search correctly from the address bar. I haven't modified any registry settings to change this (but I did add HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\CabinetState\FullPathAddress). Is this registry setting responsible? Is it another setting? Is this caused by the Internet Explorer hotfixes that run before Windows XP actually shows the desktop icons for the first time? Even adding the correct Google URL in other places (like HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchUrl) doesn't fix it. Please help
