Hi i'm getting this error msg here:

but in the other thread nobody could help.

doesnt anybody have an idea why i'm getting this error?

the troublshooting page from cdshell says error 808 means the cd is scratched, but in fact i'm using an image...

so PLZ somebody HELP ME!

here is how my /BOOT folder looks like:

what ver. of cdshell are you using? ver 2.0.15b/16b are buggy and cannot be d/l'ed though some people are using it still. Try using v2.0.11 if you are not.

It's because of your MKISOFS.EXE... With the the last version, there are problems with the ISO9660:1999...

To resolve this, use the patched version of BartPE...

For anyone who's still getting an 808***** error when booting even though all files are in the correct place:

Try creating your ISO with an -j1 switch. This will encode Joilet Unicode filenames and generate DOS compatibile 8.3 filenames in the ISO-9660 name space (so it says under the -j1 description). Basically you get DOS 8.3 filenames for your files, but this just might convince CDShell to boot properly.

Alternatively, you can use the -u1 switch instead of -j1, which will encode the files in UDF file format, so you'll still be able to use long filenames for your files and be able to boot.

Try it and see if it works. It did for me.
