Bumfuddle19 Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 Hi all. I created an installer and slipstreamed it and several programs and everything is fine. Now this might be awefully noob-ish of me, but can someone please explain why after the initial boot into windows I am asked to help connect to the internet? Once passed it everything is fine. So i must have missed something in my winnt.sif. Can someone please tell me what line i am missing, because I would really like to have that interaction eliminated and have a COMPLETELY unattended install. Thanks.
-GoC- Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 UnattendSwitch="yes" instructs Windows XP Setup to skip the "Welcome to Windows XP" screens, where user account and Internet setting-up takes place. If you didn't skip this then it wouldn't really be "unattended" would it? :-)taken from the winnt.sif page of Unnattended Install Guide on MSFN
Bumfuddle19 Posted June 21, 2004 Author Posted June 21, 2004 Thanks alot. Guess I skipped over that in reading. oops.
