Windows 2000 Unattend Autologon Problem

Recommended Posts

I have successfully created a XP unattended install and am trying to port it over to 2k. So far everything except a few drivers and security patches has moved over with little problem except for the autologon. In XP I was able to get it to autologon 1 time with an admin account on my domain but using the same code and everything with 2k doesn't work. I remotely checked the registry for the logon key and it either doesn't apply it or is defaulted back to administrator and no autologon. If code is needed i can show it but is it standard to what everyone here is using and it worked for XP. ....Any clues??? Thanks

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

AutoAdminLogon, AutoLogonCount, DefaultDomainName, DefaultUserName, DefaultPassword

All except AutoLogonCount are strings. AutoLogonCount is a reg dword
