When i right click and go to toolbars to check one of the toolbar to display on the right of my start. Everything is working fine and stuff, but when i log out, restart, or shut down, and when i log in again the shortcut toolbar is not there anymore or other words it dissappear. What do i do. I don't want to go right click and go check the quick launch toolbar when ever i log in to get it to appear.

Is there anyway i can reinstall the toolbars file(s) or system files, or dll so it would work again. It works for like 2 years but for the last 3 or 4 days it is not working. Gosh, i love my quicklaunch toolbar so much, but now hating it cuz i have to right click for it to show up everytime i start window.

please help!!!

Try adding it via the taskbar properties screen. Should not make a difference but it may. You can do this by right-clicking the taskbar and clicking properties and add it that way.

Well, you could try deleting your registry information in your profile. If you delete the NTUSER.DAT, NTUSER.POL and NTUSER.DAT.LOG files, Windows will recreate your registry information and it should fix your problem, but beware, it may create a new profile for you or cause some other problem. You cannot delete while you are logged on and if you do attempt this approach, create a backup copy just incase.

WOW that is risky!!!! is there a safter way, if not you sure it works. I just worry that it may not fix the problem and it may even pop up more problems

I'd say you'd be right, you shouldn't loose your data, if you simply copy the account folder to something like usernamea or something, then delete the files and logon you should be right. If it creates a new account folder, you can easily just delete the two old ones, logon again and copy the data back, but it's up to you, that's what I'd do.

i put the quicklaunch toolbar on the desktop, apart from the taskbar...
